Thought Process:

Athletic throw like an infielder, reciprocal move. The jump and rotation requires the athlete to capture energy and requires efficiency to throw the ball with any velocity. The jump will also shorten many arm actions. Everybody has tried to make this play at least once in their life.

Movement Prescription:

Often for a majority of athletes. Whenever they need some differential learning.

Feels/Cues:

Most athletes feel a lack of timing or synergy and adjust with limited cueing. Throw the ball to first base or throw it out (not down).

Common Compensations:

Throwing after they hit the ground. Weird jumps. Throwing the ball down.
